Vithal Acharya

Vithal Acharya is the Chief People Officer of Sterlite Power. In this role he is charged with directing and enabling organisational imperatives and people plans, towards meeting their 3-5-year business road map.

In the past, Vithal has spent over 8 years with General Electric. The last role there was as an HR Business partner for or the Digital Business of General Electric India. Before that he was the HR Business partner for GE Water. He stared with GE Aviation at their Engineering group at the John F Welch Technology Centre at Bangalore as an HR Manager.

Before GE, Vithal served as HR Head for SE Asia & HK region with HCL Singapore Pte Ltd (a subsidiary of HCL Technologies) and before that with HCL technologies’ R&D Line of business across Chennai and Bangalore in various HR functional roles.

Vithal holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Mumbai University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Avaantika Kakkar

Ms. AvaantikaKakkar is a law graduate from Indian Law Society’s Law College. She leads and advises on complex merger filings with the CCI. Besides advising on joint ventures, she represents select clients on the enforcement side before the CCI and the Office of the Director General. She provides strategic advisory support on commercial arrangements and compliance issues. Her background in corporate and securities laws and structured finance equips her uniquely for strategic advice on merger control issues in India. She has authored a book titled ‘A Perspective on Product Liability Law and Consumer Safety (2006)’. She serves as an independent director on the Boards of public companies including Sterlite Technologies Limited and MSL Driveline Systems Limited. She is amongst the World’s Leading Competition Lawyers as per The International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers & Economists 2014, is a ranked lawyer in Chambers Global 2015, was recognised as GCR’s Top 100 women in Antitrust, 2016 and is a Leading Lawyer (Asia Law).

Mohit Saxena

Mohit Saxena, has lead the function for people excellence since the inception of Grid Business in 2010. He has a total experience of 19 plus years in manufacturing sector and projects in the fields of telecom and power, among others. He has been instrumental in aligning human capital with Business goals through Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement and industrial relations for overall development of the organization. He has in depth experience of Organization Building both in India and abroad through Hiring from India and Overseas. Additionally he has also played a pivotal role in foraying Sterlite Entry in the Brazil Market to become the First Indian Global Transmission Developer abroad.

Lifetime member of National Institute of Personnel Management, Mohit holds the degree of B.Sc and has further enhanced knowledge by doing PGDHRD and Executive Programme in HRM from IIM Kolkata. He is a Certified Recruitment Analyst from the Carlton Advanced Managed Institute, USA.
